Copyright and DMCA Policy

Effective: October 25, 2026Last updated: October 25, 2026

Lasques, Inc. (las/ques) expects users to respect copyright and source licenses. This policy supplements the Terms of Service.

1. Ownership and licenses

Users retain rights in their own content as described in the Terms. Public content is subject to the platform licenses and any attached license; public access does not mean all uses are unrestricted. AI-generated content may contain third-party material or lack copyright protection, and Lasques does not guarantee ownership or non-infringement.

Send a notice to [email protected] identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, and its specific Lasques URL or repository location. Include your name, contact details, and authority to act for the rightsholder.

A statutory U.S. notice generally also requires a physical or electronic signature, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law, and a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury. Consider applicable exceptions, including fair use, before submitting a notice.

Use the U.S. Copyright Office's designated-agent directory to confirm any registered agent contact for a statutory notice. The general contact address above does not represent that a designated-agent registration or any particular safe-harbor status has been established.

3. Review and removal

We may request information, restrict or remove the identified material, preserve relevant records, and notify the uploader. We may provide the notice and contact information to the affected user as needed to process the claim or comply with law. A complaint does not automatically establish infringement.

4. Counter-notices

If your material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, contact [email protected] with the removed material's location and your explanation. Where the U.S. statutory counter-notice procedure applies, a counter-notice generally requires your signature, name, address, telephone number, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and the required consent to federal-court jurisdiction and service of process.

We may forward a counter-notice to the original complainant. Restoration under an applicable statutory process is subject to its conditions and timing, including notice of a filed court action. Consult the Copyright Office's section 512 guidance for the statutory procedure.

5. Repeat infringement and misuse

We may terminate or restrict repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and may act against false or abusive notices under the Terms. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement or mistaken removal can have legal consequences. This policy does not decide disputes between users or replace available legal remedies.
